Theta Chi Fraternity at Texas State University

My Fraternity’s national home page and website. http://www.thetachi.org/

My fraternity is brand new here on campus and even though we are about 3 years old and up and running hardly anyone knows what we are about and what we do here at Texas State. This web site shall be dedicated to making students more aware of what Theta Chi Fraternity is about. Last week our national head quarters told us that we were accepted for Charter ship which is a huge deal. For some, like myself, have been here from the very start and have put in a lot of money, time, and effort into making this a successful organization that stands out above all others. I feel this site will allow incoming freshmen, who wish to rush a fraternity as a freshman, will get a full understanding of what we are about and what our name is here on campus. Every chapter is different and has its own values and stories that make it the greatest on every school campus so I’d like to make this one dedicated to the chapter here at Texas State.

The sections that I’d want to have present of this page would be a Home page to introduce us and who we are. A members page and a little description of who everyone is and their positions and accomplishments. Then a page dedicated to our achievements, philanthropy and fundraising activities. I’d also like to incorporate a page dedicated to just photos of our fraternity so others can see what fun we have. Lastly I’d like to have a page on whom to contact if you are interested in rushing and a form that potentials can fill out so as to  give us a bit of information on who that new potential is.

Here is a slight preview of us as brothers having fun and what we do.

Project3 & links to friendly sites

The links I have attached were some links I have been recently looking at and found very easy to find my way around on. They are both very well constructed sites. The first link to Noxxic doesn’t change much when it comes to being shrunk on any device, it just stays the same however it uses alignment, proximity, repetition and contrast very well. The second link to Starrcompanies did however adapt to its usage when used on different devices. I went to their site a few times on my PC and my phone and things would turn into barns or in column form when it wouldn’t fit all on my phone screen. Though it was still very easy to explore the site.

Me

I am a senior here at Texas State and I want to go into Crisis Management once I’ve graduated. I have my eye set up on Dallas since I know there are a few major big organizations up there. I hope to get out of this class the ability to make web pages which will be another check mark on my skills/abilities on my resume. In my spare time I like to hunt, fish, play video games, am a founding father of Theta Chi Fraternity here on campus, and like to play golf on the weekends.
