I couldn’t get the link to the videos to work, but I found the videos on YouTube anyway and recognized them from Zmikly’s Fundamentals of Online Media class last semester, so I’ve seen it before.

First of all, the host is very distracting. His bobbing head and wild gesticulations make me a little dizzy. I don’t want to make fun of him, maybe he has tourette’s or something.

Companies come and go, but never so quickly as in the digital era! I remember using “Excite” when it was a search engine, and it’s pretty amazing that they could’ve bought Google back in the day for $1 million.

The internet has changed how we consume music and how many of us watch movies and television. It’s changed how we shop and how we choose restaurants. I remember using Napster too, and I remember the whole Metallica lawsuit. In fact, these videos make me feel really old!
